It snowed major big time in Craiova this week! We had a foot deep snow on our balcony after the snow stopped, and there were places with a foot and a half or 2 feet of snow on the ground. Some of the roads have 8-10 foot piles of snow from the snow plows (Romanian snow plow = shovel tractor thing taken from a construction site). It's super awesome! Elder Lee and I have been waiting for snow for a while. Along with the snow came super cool service opportunities, too. Our week was filled with service and contacting, but we probably had more success contacting while shoveling in suits than just normal contacting. Plus it was fun doing service and getting out of the normal contacting every day routine. We shoveled paths on the sidewalks near the church, because everyone just walks on the roads in the parts of town with less foot traffic to pack the snow down, made a path to a bus stop for some people, made parking spots for some people, made paths to houses, etc. It was fun and a good easy way to let people know we're not just robots who walk around the streets of their city everyday. :)
Church was fun. A less active member showed up for the first time in 2 or 3 months... 3 minutes before church ended haha. I asked him why he was late and he said he didn't know, he just finds it hard to show up on time to church usually. He said he'd come a half hour early next week, though, so that's good. I gave a talk and Elder Lee gave the Sunday School lesson, because the teachers for Sunday School have been super busy with work lately and haven't been able to come. I feel bad for them, one of them works 70 hours a week and if she doesn't she'll lose her job.
We mostly just had a week of service and contacting, a few lessons, not much to report, though. Elder Lee and I are having a lot of fun still and everything's going pretty well! I hope all of you are doing awesome! Love you all!
